Guided, step-by-step instruction covers approachable acrylic techniques, simple color mixing, and palette knife work. Attendees learn to build soft, wool-like texture with modeling paste, then add layers of color, highlights, and shadows for depth and dimension. Each canvas comes prepared with the composition so painters can focus on texture and color rather than drawing, and there is plenty of room to make the piece personal. No prior experience is required. All supplies are included, such as canvas, paints, brushes, and textured mediums. The cost is $45 per person, and seating is limited. A portion of proceeds supports the Clermont Farm Foundation in its work across conservation, education, agriculture, and preservation.
