    November Maker's Market

Berryville · Unique Creations Studio, 107 W Main St

An outdoor maker market fills the host parking lot with handmade goods from creators across the local area and surrounding region. This recurring series takes place on the first Sunday from May through November and proceeds regardless of weather. Pop-up vendors present a range of handmade work for shoppers to browse. Interested makers can apply for a juried 12-by-12-foot space for $25 by emailing three images to uniquecreationscommunity@yahoo.com. Organizers also consider participants for in-store placement, using the market to observe customer interest, see and handle products, and understand price points.

Wild Ink: A Monthly Writer's Circle

Sperryville · Wild Roots Apothecary, 4 River Ln

Words can resist, remember, imagine new futures, and reveal what lives deepest within us. Wild Ink is a monthly circle for writers of every kind, including essayists, poets, journal keepers, storytellers, and anyone who carries a notebook. Guided by Jiamie and Gomer Pyles, longtime writers and community organizers, the gathering offers unstructured time to simply show up and write together. Expect a quiet block devoted to writing, followed by an optional chance to share. There is no critique and no formal agenda, just space to turn thoughts into words. Herbal tea is available while you work. Attendance is free, with an optional donation basket that supports Jiamie and Gomer’s travel and garden costs. Participants can bring a work in progress, a snippet of an idea, or a blank page, and many appreciate the river sounds, the friendly company, and the connections that form. This gathering takes place at love, wild gardens at Wild Roots Apothecary.
