    The sixth annual Sperryville Summer Concert Series wraps up with a hometown favorite, Gold Top County Ramblers, bringing a lively blend of string rock and bluegrass. The lineup features Adam Rogers on mandolin and vocals, Jesse Rogers on bass, Tucker Rogers on resonator guitar, Matt Davis on banjo, James Reid on drums, and Evan Childress on fiddle. The performance is presented in two sets with a brief intermission. Presented by the Sperryville Community Alliance and the Rappahannock Association for Arts and Community, this free showcase of regional music takes place outdoors in Sperryville’s River District near where the north and south branches of the Thornton River meet. All ages are welcome, and the setting invites neighbors to dine, dance, and connect. If weather turns unfavorable, the concert moves to an indoor space next to the site, and rain dates are not offered. Bring blankets, low chairs, and your own food and drinks. New Iberia Kitchen and Indulgent Scullery at Off the Grid will serve food at the event, and Yukon’s Treats or C&C Frozen Treats will offer ice cream and other sweets. Copper Fox Distillery will be open during the event, and its beverages may be enjoyed within the concert area only. Please avoid carrying open containers beyond the concert boundaries. Admission is free, and a tip jar will circulate for anyone wishing to support the musicians. Parking is limited, so consider carpooling or taking a stroll along the Sperryville River Walk from nearby spots. Additional parking is made possible by Copper Fox Antiques, Copper Fox Distillery, and The Marketplace Sperryville. Leashed dogs are welcome, and pet owners are encouraged to sit along the outer edge of the crowd. Support for the series is provided in part by a Better Together grant from the PATH Foundation.
