The duo began when Susan Munson invited Frank Bechter to a songwriters workshop, sparking a collaboration that has since resonated at wineries, restaurants, and events across Central Virginia. They have performed as featured artists at Charlottesville's First Night Virginia and Jason Burke's Six-Pack Songwriter Series, and together they also make up two thirds of the acoustic trio Oh Wow, Boy! Outside of the duo, Susan performs with Alligator, Jeebus, and Mama Tried, while Frank performs with Das Homage, The Good Guys, and Her Checkered Past.

USA Dance Charlottesville hosts a ballroom dance lesson and social at The Center at Belvedere featuring Karen Thomas. A professional instructor leads a warmup class to start the night, followed by social dancing set to a mix that spans Standard and Smooth, Rhythm and Latin, plus West Coast Swing, Nightclub, Hustle, and more. All are welcome, with no partner or prior experience needed. Admission is free, and light refreshments are available. Contributions are appreciated on a sliding scale of 10 to 20 dollars, with all proceeds helping the studio continue its mission of nurturing music makers. Queen City Music Studios serves as a school, shop, and special events hub, offering lessons and group classes for all ages and styles, workshops, rehearsal space, and house concerts. Founded by Molly Rose Murphy in 2015 with an emphasis on learning by ear, it now engages more than twenty professional musicians and instructors and also provides booking, event management, and production services. The shop operates a full-service music store with quality new and used instruments, accessories, and repairs. Early childhood learning is supported through Molly's Musikgarten, a licensed and certified program featuring family music classes.
