Smoke on the Sound introduces top tier barbecue to the Pacific Northwest with an inaugural competition at Marymoor Park in Redmond, WA. The showcase features teams from the international Kansas City Barbeque Society and collaborates with sponsors to celebrate the community while creating a memorable experience for guests. One day is open to the public with tastings from competing teams, a beer garden, and live music.

Swagath Bellevue offers an all-you-care-to-eat South Indian breakfast buffet with a variety of regional favorites. The spread includes idly, vada, pongal, upma, poori served with Bombay chutney, dosa, punugulu, a sweet dish, sambar, three freshly made chutneys, and chana masala curry, with tea included. Prices are $15 for adults, $10 for children ages 5 to 12, and free for children under 5. Friends and families can enjoy unlimited helpings across the entire menu.

This weekend ride centered on the Oyster Run features a spirited pace along scenic backroads filled with twisties. Riders can travel up together on Saturday or make their own way. Hotel rooms are available for those who want to stay the entire weekend, and there is an invitation to a Saturday barbecue. After the main ride, the plan is to head down Whidbey Island for the return with more favorite twisty sections. The return route will be finalized later.

A monthly, low pressure 2SLGBTQIA+ art meetup organized by Pride Across the Bridge gathers at Bellevue Library for relaxed creativity and connection. Bring a project to work on, collaborate on shared ideas, trade materials, or simply enjoy the creative atmosphere. The group usually meets in Room 1 in the foyer. If the room is hard to find, check the small notices posted outside the library meeting rooms for reservation schedules or ask a librarian for assistance. The space is facilitated by Uncle Jack of Wolfberry Studio and PAB volunteer Robin. This is intended to be a safe space for all, and behavior that targets or undermines 2SLGBTQIA+ or BIPOC community members will lead to being asked to leave. All ages are welcome. Minors and others under legal guardianship should attend with a guardian or friend, and youth may attend with another youth. Guardians, friends, or caretakers do not need to be queer. Devi Mahotsavam is a large-scale celebration honoring the Goddess, presented by Rhythms Classical. As the first major production from Rhythms Classical, it brings together Bharatanatyam dance and Carnatic music in a unified program at Meydenbauer Center. All materials are provided and cleanup is taken care of, so the focus stays on creating. Popular options include wine glass painting, pottery painting, painted candlesticks, watercolor bookmarks, and oil painting. It works well for catching up with a friend, a date outing, a creative reset, or crafting a special gift. No experience is required. Indoor and outdoor seating are available, parking is free, and the first drink is included. Reservations are encouraged, and drop-in is welcome.

Eastside Spin Jam welcomes flow artists, jugglers, and anyone who wants to move and explore. Workshops are planned on a monthly basis, and anyone interested in teaching can speak with the event host. This gathering takes place outdoors. Attendees are asked to stay home if feeling unwell or recently exposed to illness, and to respect personal boundaries by asking first before hugging or touching others. Operated by Seattle Flow Arts Collective, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the jam is supported by donations that keep the space financially accessible, with a suggested contribution of $5 for open jams.
