A free King County community repair event is taking place at the Bellevue Library, where skilled volunteer fixers will examine and attempt to repair household items and clothing. Service is first come, first served for each person’s first item, and second items may be considered after everyone has had a turn. Typical repairs include small appliances and electronics, lamps, vacuums, toys, electric power tools, small furniture like chairs and drawers, jewelry, and textiles. Items should be reasonably clean. Staff may decline to work on any item depending on the repair needed, the expertise available, or other considerations. The event does not accept gasoline powered equipment, cell phones, tablets, microwaves, knife or tool sharpening, extensive reconstructive work, or major clothing alterations.

Learn lifesaving CPR and first aid skills in this in-person training class led by American Heart Association (AHA) certified instructors. The course covers adult, child, and infant CPR/AED as part of Heartsaver® training and is designed to meet WISHA and OSHA requirements. Lake Sammamish Run Club hosts Thursday runs that take place rain or shine. From June through September, the start location shifts to the Bridle Trails Grocery Outlet, with routes on mostly soft trail surfaces. The course changes by week of the month, and second Thursdays in this summer schedule feature the Secret Trail. Runners can choose routes of approximately 4.5 miles or 5.7 miles.

Part of the City of Kenmore Summer Concert Series, this outdoor performance takes place on the lawn at Saint Edward State Park. Bring a low chair or blanket for comfortable seating. Parking at the park requires a Discover Pass, and an automated pay station on site allows visitors to purchase a one day or annual pass. Ten ADA parking spaces are located near the concert area, with additional ADA spots available throughout the park. A free ADA accessible shuttle operates between the Kenmore Park & Ride and Saint Edward State Park on concert nights, running both to and from the venue, and the schedule may shift slightly due to traffic.
