A charter bus outing travels to American Family Field in Milwaukee for the Minnesota Twins versus Milwaukee Brewers game. Deer District hosts a farmer’s market run by Lauryn Wynter Company and supported by Deer District BID 53. Each week, more than 100 vendors gather with fresh, organic meats, eggs, fruits, cheeses and vegetables, along with bakery items, arts and crafts and live entertainment. Visitors can enjoy free live music, relax in comfortable seating and choose from a wide range of ready-to-eat foods. The Taste It Tent features rotating samples of new items available from market vendors, and a kids area offers games and activities for families. Tenants in Deer District are also open alongside the market for brunch or lunch. SNAP/EBT, WIC and Senior Nutritional Vouchers are accepted.

The Melt Yard turns The New Fashioned in Milwaukee’s Deer District into an energetic open-air hangout that celebrates Wisconsin summer with one irresistible theme... melty cheese. Visitors can dig into grilled cheese sandwiches and sweet-and-savory s’mores, try an oversized cheese pull challenge, snap cheesy photos, and relax with backyard-style games that are easy to enjoy with friends. Cold refreshment is part of the fun too, with options like Beren’s Brandy Old Fashioneds, Tito’s Bloody Marys, and Monster Energy drinks. Pup Pull Saturdays presented by Tito’s brings a dog-friendly focus with pup cups, treats, photo ops, and prizes, and three HAWS Adoptable Dog Days are also planned. The summer Sopra Mare concert series returns to the Villa courtyard, featuring music from Milwaukee musicians and handcrafted drinks from Crave Cart. Milwaukee Record partners with Cactus Club and WYNK on a monthly WNBA watch party series, and this edition spotlights Las Vegas at New York. Admission is offered on a sliding scale of $10 to $20 to support Girls Rock MKE camp operations, and children 10 and under are admitted free. Merchandise and refreshments will be available.
