A new series of free live concerts at McMillan Library continues with Art Stevenson & High Water. The lineup across the series also brings performances from Salaam, Yasmin Williams, Mason Lospeej Her, AnnMarie Rowland, Hiroya Tsukamoto, the John Jorgenson Quintet, and Ethan Setiawan & Fine Ground. Admission is free.

The 20th Annual Walk For Hope at Lake Pacawa, hosted by Prevent Suicide Portage County, brings people together to share hope, connection, and resources. Participants can hear from local speakers, connect with community members, and then walk together in support of mental health awareness and suicide prevention. Registration is open. Those who would rather donate than register may do so through the community foundation. More information will be shared.

Experience Heritage Park on a docent-led Saturday Stroll Through History. The tour sets off at the General Store, where a guide introduces the site’s past before leading the group through 11 historic buildings, including a one-room schoolhouse, a railroad depot, and a barn, each revealing a different facet of Portage County history. This 90-minute route concludes with Rhythms of the River: The History of Music in Portage County, a featured exhibit that explores the songs, sounds, and musical traditions that have influenced the community. Whether you are new to the park or a seasoned history enthusiast, the entire experience is included with the price of a ticket.

Set in downtown Wisconsin Rapids across the Grand Ave Bridge and along 1st Ave, this 26th annual car show with arts and crafts welcomes participants without advance registration. Dash plaques will be available for the first 100 cars.
