With strong community backing since 2016, NOMA has grown from a grassroots effort into a robust nonprofit dedicated to reducing stigma and strengthening the recovery community.

Over an eight week schedule, participants follow a structured plan, receive a technical training shirt, and get a weekly newsletter with coaching tips and encouragement. The program works toward the Oak Park Challenge as its target event and wraps up with an end-of-program Trail-Gate Party. Prior trail experience is helpful but not required, and participants should have completed a 10k within the six months leading up to the start of training.
