A competitive Magic tournament awaits with Swiss pairings that lead into a single elimination cut following MTR guidelines. Rounds are 50 minutes, and standard match scoring applies with three points for a win, one for a draw, and zero for a loss. The entry fee is $30. Proxies are allowed for Reserved List cards as long as they are printed with original art and borders, and handwritten styles are not accepted. All entry fees return to the prize pool, with $100 set aside for the Invitational, and prizes are issued as store credit. Learn silk screen printing in a family friendly class for ages 14 and up. This hands-on workshop covers the essentials while you create a custom piece on your choice of a T-shirt or a hoodie. All materials are provided, including the garment you will print. Please arrive with an idea for your artwork. A simple hand drawing works, or bring a digital design on a flash drive. Instruction includes how screen mesh and mesh count affect results, how to choose the right screen for your project, preparing artwork in Corel Draw or Photoshop, coating a screen and exposing the image, setting up a print station, applying ink and making prints, curing and finishing the garment, and cleaning and reclaiming screens. Huntsville’s official cocktail festival features leading local restaurants competing for the title of Rocket City’s best cocktail, each showcasing creations in support of a charity they have chosen. Guests will vote to decide the champion. Ticket information will be available soon.

The event includes a guided walk through the Healing Steps Labyrinth, an accessible space located between St Stephens Episcopal and The United Church of Huntsville. Set on the Aldridge Creek Greenway in South Huntsville, this event features marathon and half marathon distances on an exceptionally flat, fast route that traces Aldridge Creek and the Tennessee River and begins and ends at Ditto Landing Marina. Chip timing will be provided, and both courses are certified, making it one of the South’s rare last-minute opportunities to qualify for Boston. Typical temperatures this time of year range from about 64F to 87F. Packet pickup will be available at RunningLane ahead of race day, with a race-morning option as well, and early pickup is recommended.

Memphis born and Shoals seasoned, Otis is a busy figure in the Huntsville scene and guides an easygoing night where experienced artists trade licks alongside newcomers in a supportive setting. Musicians travel in from Birmingham, the Shoals, and Middle Tennessee to take part. Launched in summer 2024, it made its home at the Historic Tip Top Cafe and carries on a tradition rooted in blues, community, and a relaxed, welcoming feel. People come for the music and stay for the community, and everyone is welcome.
