El Casino Ballroom hosts the thirteenth edition of KXCI’s House Rockin’ Blues Review benefit concert, headlined by The Paladins with special guest, Arizona Blues Hall of Fame saxophonist Alex Flores. The rockabilly blues veterans, founded by guitarist Dave Gonzalez and bassist Thomas Yearsley, have released nine studio albums and three live recordings, earned a reputation for tireless touring and dynamic performances, last appeared at this venue in 2018, and helped launch KXCI’s House Rockin’ series here in the 1980s. The Xcelerators, featuring Ken Saydak, open the show with a blend they describe as gritty and sophisticated blues, shaped by decades of experience across genres. The evening is hosted by Marty Kool of KXCI’s Blues Review, and food from The Parish will be available for purchase. Tickets are $25 in advance for KXCI members and $30 for the general public, or $35 at the door. A limited number of reserved individual seats is available for $75, and reserved high-top tables for four are $320. Proceeds support KXCI’s mission to connect Tucson and Southern Arizona with educational, informative, and creative community programming.

System Of A Clown brings a high-energy salute to System of a Down to The Rock in Tucson as part of the Wake Up In Makeup Tour. The performance channels the signature sound, fierce intensity, and unpredictable turns of a live SOAD show, rooted in alternative and nu metal. The tour also visits Denver, Omaha, Kansas City, Des Moines, Sauget, Tulsa, and Amarillo. This event appeals to fans of heavy metal, 2000s rock, and live tribute bands.

Dengue Fever brings its genre-crossing sound to the stage, led by vocalist Chhom Nimol with Senon Williams on bass, Zac Holtzman on guitar and vocals, Ethan Holtzman on keyboards, Paul Smith on drums, and David Ralicke on horns. Marking the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut, the band’s recent album Ting Mong represents a cohesive new chapter shaped by desert sessions, meditative grooves, subtle electronic textures, and the improvisational interplay that colors their blend of Cambodian vocals, psychedelia, surf tones, Afro‑influenced rhythms, and vintage soundtrack flair. The performance is standing room only unless Stage View Seating or a High Top Table for four is included in your ticket. Ages 16 and up are welcome, and attendees under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Angel Parking may be available to add during checkout if offered as an add-on.

A celebration honoring Dennis Francis, known as DJ Papa Ranger, will be held at Rudy Garcia Park, also known as Rodeo Park, Ramada 1. Marking four years since his passing, the gathering features music by his sons, DJ Jahmar and DJ Jah Fire. The event welcomes all ages and is free to attend.
