Live music fills Goldwater Crossings in South Tempe with a performance by Casey Ryan, an independent singer and songwriter from the Pacific Northwest. Ryan has toured internationally, previously affiliated with Universal Music Group, playing roughly 250 shows each year in more than 20 countries and sharing stages with Third Eye Blind, Matchbox 20, James Bay, Teddy Swims, and Lewis Capaldi. His songs have earned regional and national recognition, millions of streams, and editorial playlist support on Spotify for the single Nothing, Now in 2019. After releasing Damaged in 2020, he received endorsements from Breedlove Guitars and G7th Capo Company and sponsorships from Liquid and Vuori Clothing. His 2023 single BleedingForYou reached national radio syndication, and honors include Best Male Vocalist, Best New Artist, and Best Solo Artist from Best of The Valley in Arizona, plus AZSGM Artist of the Year in late 2023. Expect powerful, raspy vocals and a broad mix of familiar covers across pop, rock, alternative, country, R and B, blues, and indie. He typically performs solo with a loop pedal to create layered arrangements and brings all necessary sound equipment. The venue is a modern brewery and taproom offering a variety of craft beers, including year-round favorites.

Performers of all kinds are invited to a monthly open mic held on the second Saturday. Share music, comedy, or poetry. Those who are not American Legion members may participate by attending as a guest of Christina McCarty. In addition to the performances, the gathering celebrates everyone with a birthday that month, and cake is planned.

Watchtower returns to its birthplace for a high energy lineup at The Chill Room in Tempe. Outer Beings, a jazz rock duo of two brothers, opens with expansive sounds. Green Eyed Guitarist follows with virtuosic guitar shredding. Watchtower then closes the live portion with its mix of punk, jazz, metal, and groove. After the bands, DJ C.O.R.Y. keeps the crowd dancing late into the night.

Enjoy a night at Oasis Pool with a 21+ pool party experience featuring Hugel. Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the event runs until 11:00 PM.
