    Kindermusic Classes

Francie's Piano Lessons, 831 Plaza Encanto, Sierra Vista · verified Aug 7
    See details

A welcoming 45 minute kindermusic class for children ages 1 to 5 invites little ones and their caregivers to explore music with puppets, child friendly instruments, songs, playful games, movement, and a gentle introduction to musical notation. Each program runs for eight weeks, costs $80 per child, and is designed to be different from the last so families can participate in successive sessions. Through musical play, children build body awareness, coordination, fine motor skills, memory, and social interaction while strengthening emotional development and the bond with their caregivers. The experience encourages confidence, self esteem, creativity, and the ability to focus. Music led activities also support language growth and early reading by engaging the brain’s attention to patterns and sound. Wordplay, rhymes, poems, singing, careful listening, and playful exploration of high and low voice patterns help develop phonological awareness. Since the brain processes speech and music in related ways, these skills contribute to learning and readiness for school. Classes take place at Francie’s Piano Lessons and are offered in ongoing eight week cycles.
