Open Studio is a drop-in, uninstructed art-making session where kids can freely experiment with different craft materials and explore creative ideas. C.S. Lewis’ classic exploration of spiritual conflict takes the stage at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center in Thousand Oaks in a theatrical adaptation told from a demon’s perspective. Set in a stylish infernal office where God is called the Enemy and the devil is Our Father Below, the story follows His Abysmal Sublimity, Screwtape, as he works to undermine the soul of an unsuspecting human. Directed by FPA Founder and Artistic Director Max McLean, the production runs 90 minutes with no intermission and is followed by a question and answer session open to all attendees. It is recommended for ages 13 and older, and children under 4 are not admitted.
