They will also get practical experience with Blockbench and learn to code procedures in MCreator using a block-based language. Recommended for ages 7 and up, it provides a creative path to turn imaginative ideas into playable features.

Explore the fundamentals of circus and physical theater in an inclusive, high-energy camp that welcomes athletes, puzzle solvers, and daredevils alike. Test balance on boards or stilts, hone coordination with juggling and plate spinning, and build courage on the tightrope. The program draws on circus traditions from around the world and follows one simple principle... believe you can, and you will. The session culminates in a participant-led skill share for friends and family. Led by instructor Cynthia Rauschert at the Fairfield University Store. Open to ages 8 and up. Campers dive into robotics and coding using micro:bit boards and CuteBot robotic cars with the MakeCode editor. They will program movement, adjust speed, navigate obstacles, and practice following lines while discovering how code controls real-world hardware. The plan starts with friendly conversation, continues with a quiet reading session, and finishes with open time to linger and chat. It is now intended to take place each week.

Young creators investigate pigment, stone, glass, and other familiar materials, testing how they can change form and purpose through simple experimentation. With guidance from the Grace Education Team, participants will tinker, construct, take things apart, and make new discoveries while tracing the life cycle of the materials that shape the built world. Imagination leads the way as everyday items become unexpected creations.

Young artists can explore color and creativity by making landscape collages inspired by plans for a flower-rich lawn in the Plaza. After a short look at the flowers expected to bloom at Grace Farms in the coming years, participants imagine their own garden scene and build a unique artwork with a variety of materials. Open Arts Studio provides a site-specific, open-ended experience that invites children to notice the building, its shapes and design, and the ideas behind it. This weekly series is led by Grace Farms Arts Educator Nancy Jameson. Recommended for ages 4 to 11 with an adult caregiver.

Family Night returns to Park City Music Hall with an all-ages evening of karaoke and a single, extended round of family trivia hosted by John Torres. Karaoke kicks things off, trivia follows for one long round, then the music continues with more karaoke. Harborview cookies are among the prizes. RSVP is free. On-site hospitality features a full bar alongside a kitchen offering craft cocktails, tasty bites and more, with a kids menu available. The kitchen opens with doors and stays open until the Kitchen Open light is turned off.
