Each week, the Gazebo Stage fills with free live music that is welcoming to families. Pair the tunes with takeout from neighborhood restaurants such as Andaz, Plaza Mexico, and Ricci.

Spend an evening dancing at Sky Stage in downtown Frederick with a night of swing flavors presented by Revolution Modern Dance. The night opens with a beginner-friendly lesson from Amanda that introduces the essentials of swing and blues, followed by social dancing through the rest of the event. Expect moderate tempo jazz, blues, and soul selected with lindy hop, West Coast Swing, and blues dancers in mind, paced for warm weather and a concrete floor. A contribution of $5 to $10 at the door is suggested. No advance registration or tickets are needed, and donations help cover instructors and DJs, with any remaining funds going to Sky Stage to support other arts and music programs.

A return to Frederick brings a night of funky grooves, filled with upbeat rhythms and a lively vibe.

Nektar brings their legendary rock sound to the stage for an all-ages show. VIP packages are available that include a pre-show meet and greet, photo opportunity, exclusive VIP merchandise, early entry, and VIP check-in. Concert admission still requires a separate show ticket purchase.

Violinist Ava Pakiam joins pianist Cole Anderson for a guest artist recital at Hood College, returning to campus for another performance. The concert will be held in Coffman Chapel. Program information will be announced.

Mutts & Music brings together adoptable pets and live tunes. Double Dog Rescue will be on site with pet adoptions and other dog friendly activities, and live music will fill the Gazebo Stage.

Monocacy Brewing Company marks 24 years with an all day anniversary celebration featuring live music from a range of acts. Crash the Limo will close the festivities with a complete set to end the night. Visitors can wander between performances, enjoy food and the brewery’s house made beers, and watch the energy build into a night of singing along and dancing with friends. It is a milestone celebration more than two decades in the making.

The Midnight Moving Company brings a shuffle of party favorites from the 80s through the 2000s to Rockwell Brewery, powered by two lead vocalists who trade the spotlight throughout the set. Expect big singalong moments and a chance for the crowd to take the mic. The space is set up for dancing and hanging out, whether arriving with friends or on your own. All ages are welcome. Tickets are available in advance, or plan for a $5 cover at the door.

Live jazz pairs with Sunday brunch at Pistarro’s in downtown Frederick. The music is performed by Mark Lysher on bass, Brian Litz on guitar, and Ali Afrookteh on sax and flute.

The Catoctones, a men’s barbershop chorus, rehearse at Church of the Brethren. Their practice spans early barbershop standards, mid-century favorites linked to the Ink Spots, the Mills Brothers, and Frank Sinatra, and more recent songs from the Eagles, Billy Joel, and Plain White Ts. The session centers on singing rich harmonies across multiple eras of popular music.

Westview Promenade's annual Summer Concert Series brings the season to life with live music from Jill Fulton Band, The Spin-Outs featuring Taylor Brown, Diamond Alley, Deni Starr Band, and Magical Mystery Girls.
