The Clothes Bin Winston-Salem and Miracles and Blessings present a community backpack drive to help local students start the school year prepared and confident. Families can pick up backpacks with essential school supplies, enjoy complimentary food, and spend time in a setting that is welcoming for all ages. A child needs to be there to receive a backpack and supplies. Items will be given out in the order people arrive and only until the available stock is gone. Contributions are appreciated, such as notebooks, pencils and pens, crayons and markers, folders, personal care items, socks, and other basic necessities. This partnership focuses on supporting families and students as a new school year begins.
