Nebraska’s largest annual dog-friendly gathering returns with the 37th Annual Margre Durham Walk & Dog Fest at the NHS Meadow. Admission is free, and sponsorship opportunities are available. The day features sponsor tents, a beer garden with food, FlyBall demonstrations, a Family Zone, rescue groups, exclusive merchandise, and an adoption parade. Expect multiple demonstrations, including a K9 handler showcase, along with a mile-long walk on the Keystone Trail before everyone heads back to the meadow to wrap up the festivities. A new $150 Golden Paw option offers 40 percent off merchandise, five raffle entries, four drink tickets, a walk T-shirt, a food voucher, and VIP access, available in advance or on site. This is the Nebraska Humane Society’s annual fundraiser, so donations are welcome, but there is no cost to attend.
