Single-race entry for the first week is tiered at $35 for the first 200 registrants, $40 for the next 200, and $45 on race day if space remains. For weeks two through twelve, single-race entry is $20 without a shirt or $35 with a shirt. Finishers of the kickoff race receive a special medal and a technical race shirt. After the finish, participants often relax under the trees with the Arbor Society, formerly called the Bridge Club, bringing lawn chairs and coolers to connect with friends and meet new runners. Expect Ricky Cox’s signature “It’s Hot” speech. Weekly awards recognize overall and masters winners, multiple age groups, Clydesdale and Athena divisions, and race walkers. Series points are tallied and posted weekly beginning after the third race, and season awards are presented at the finale. Those who complete all 12 races in person earn the Trinity 5000 Series Survivor award. Family friendly and welcoming to competitive runners, joggers, first timers, and walkers alike, this series celebrates community on the Trinity Trails all summer long.
