Yoga instructor Sarah Broda leads a session with a stunning water view from the second floor. The library will be closed during the session, and a staff member will be at the doors shortly before it begins. Remember to bring a yoga mat or towel. It is free, open to the public, and no registration is required.

Bring your child (ages 3 to 5) and a parent or guardian for 1000 Little Wonders, a family class with stories, outdoor exploration, and a themed craft. The program includes both indoor and outdoor activities, and crafts are reserved for registered children in the 3 to 5 age range. Class size is limited, and the event is free.

Fox River House welcomes The Best Westerns for a two set performance. The Milwaukee based band delivers lively western swing suited for the dance floor, so dancing shoes are encouraged. There is no cover charge, and a hat will be passed for tips to support the musicians.

This downtown market stretches along College Avenue and features more than 130 local vendors. The experience changes each week with a rotating mix of vendors, special programming, and live music from area performers. Shattuck Park hosts the Future Neenah Farmers Market, where nearly 60 vendors offer fresh fruits and vegetables, meats and eggs, breads and baked goods, specialty foods, and handcrafted goods. Live music adds to the atmosphere, and there are food and beverage options to enjoy while browsing. The market is presented by Kimberly-Clark Corp. and Warner Commercial Roofing, with weekly performances presented by Brehmer Law. Community support comes from Floors by Angie, ThedaCare, Compeer Financial, Everdry Roofing, Windows of Wisconsin, Floor Coverings International, Sustainable Neenah, Simplicity Credit Union, the Downtown Neenah Business Improvement District, and Ridgetop Exteriors. This event marks a national day dedicated to the Fark Market and highlights the spirit of market day.

The Drinkery, located inside the Trout Museum of Art, offers buy one, get one 50% off drinks during the Appleton Farm Market. The promotion runs throughout the summer and features coffee, tea, specialty lattes, and other beverage options. Museum admission is free for all exhibitions.

Bring the kids out for the Otter Street Fishing Club's Kids Fisheree at Menominee Park. This free event welcomes children ages 3 to 12 and includes entry into the fishing contest for pre-registered kids, plus lunch, worms to fish, and a door prize. The annual Festival of Friends, created in partnership with CoVantage Credit Union, is a free, open-to-all celebration for individuals, families, clients, volunteers, and anyone new to St. Joe’s. It highlights community spirit and honors the partners who help expand St. Joe’s reach to people facing food insecurity. Guests can enjoy carnival games at no cost, a bounce house, and yard games, along with information about programs and volunteer opportunities. A brat fry is provided by the St. Bernadette Knights of Columbus, and music and DJ entertainment come from YODJ. Attendees can bring lawn chairs, sunglasses, and dancing shoes for an easygoing evening of entertainment.

A free weekly meetup for Pokemon enthusiasts offers a welcoming space to meet fellow Trainers, pursue collecting, and enjoy casual play. Open to all ages, including players and collectors. Staff are available to answer questions about the hobby.

Shattuck Park hosts the finale of the Future Neenah Evening Concert Series with Murphy's Law, a Neenah original featuring the Murphy boys performing favorite hits. Presented by Richard and Amy Jo Aylward, this concert is free to attend thanks to Menasha Corporation. In accordance with City of Neenah rules, alcohol is not permitted in the park. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Luigis On the Go, Caribbean Taste, Grazing a Go Go, and Beverly Ann's Cookies. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. Free parking is available nearby. If weather becomes an issue, the concert will move indoors to the DoubleTree Neenah Hotel. Appreciation goes to the Stage Sponsor, the Jewelers Mutual Impact Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, along with Supporting Sponsors Anderson Sod Farm, Portside Builders, Badger Labs, and the Neenah Boat and Dock Club. The largest fundraiser for the Friends of the Neenah Public Library features a multi-day book sale with a large assortment of books and AV items. Typical pricing is $2 for hardcover and trade paperback titles, $1 for paperbacks, 50 cents for children’s books, and $1 for AV, with specialty items marked higher. Highlights include a day when shoppers can fill a bag for $7 and, later in the sale, days when all items are free. Donations are currently being accepted.

The Heid Music Summer Concert Series presented by U.S. Venture brings live summer sounds to Jones Park in the heart of Downtown Appleton. Weekly ukulele open jam sessions welcome players of every skill level. Bring music you are working on, share a solo, try a duet, or play along with other ukulele enthusiasts. This free program is open to everyone and does not require registration. Sessions last up to 90 minutes and take place in the first-floor Storytime Room.
