CornRoast Volleyball 2026 features a full slate of competitive play along with free sweet corn. The series also highlights Outagamie Action Teams, neighbor-led groups in Outagamie County that work together to strengthen their communities and make a difference close to home.

Fox River House presents live music on The Patio with performances by Tom Thiel Trio and Eric W. Krueger & The Sheesh. The Tom Thiel Trio blends original rock, blues, and Americana, led by award-winning songwriter Tom Thiel on guitar and vocals with Jeremy Rechner on bass and Pat Wydeven on drums. Eric W. Krueger, a Fox Valley based and Wisconsin born singer-songwriter, formed Eric William Krueger & the Sheesh with his bandmates from A-Town Unplugged, Marty Paschke, Jeremy Rechner, and Patrick Wydeven, adding extra layers of groove to songs shaped by detailed storytelling, melody and dissonance, and rhythm. Influences for the project span Sunny Day Real Estate, the Descendents, R.E.M., and Blind Melon, and recent releases include the singles Unsolved Mysteries and Down in the Flats. His solo catalog also reflects a shift from other projects such as Leading the Blind, A-Town Unplugged, Hallorann, and Sunday Flood, including the debut release Shed Songs.

XRoads41 Rock Detour 2026 is a one-day rock music festival in Oshkosh. It features a lineup of major rock acts, including performances by Breaking Benjamin, Daughtry, Saliva, Atreyu, Drowning Pool, and many more, all taking place on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Team up for a Magic: The Gathering prerelease set in the world of The Hobbit, where famous pairings like Gandalf with Bilbo or Fíli with Kíli inspire a cooperative Two-Headed Giant event. Entry is $90 per team. The set returns to Middle‑earth with a wide range of familiar characters and creatures, evoking travels with dwarves, run‑ins with trolls, clever encounters with elves, and songs along the way. Two-Headed Giant is played by teams of two who share a starting life total of 30 and take their turns at the same time. Life is the only shared resource. When a card says “you,” it applies only to the player who controls that card. Effects that say “each opponent” or “each player” apply to both members of the opposing team or to all players individually. Players can block creatures attacking themselves, their teammate, or any planeswalkers their team controls. Each participant receives a Prerelease kit and builds a deck of at least 40 cards, with basic lands provided. Teammates combine their opened cards to build together, then compete in a three‑round, best‑of‑three tournament. Each match win earns a The Hobbit booster pack for both players on the winning team. Show off your pirate skills in a weekly One Piece tournament run in a Swiss format across three rounds.
