Discover the Future Neenah Farmers Market at Shattuck Park in Downtown Neenah. Nearly 60 vendors offer fresh fruits and vegetables, meats and eggs, breads and baked goods, specialty foods, and handcrafted items. Live music is featured each week, presented by Brehmer Law. The market is presented by Kimberly-Clark Corp. and Warner Commercial Roofing. Parking is free. Restaurants and shops in the downtown district are a short walk from the park. The 46th Annual Otto Grunski Runski 5K features a course that highlights Menasha’s downtown, local trails, and historic Doty Island. The race begins and ends at Curtis Reed Square. Registration includes a long sleeve T-shirt from The Print House LLC and a finisher award from Catch Fire Creations. Expect a lively finish line with music from 103.9 WVBO and BBQ parfaits from Parker John’s. Proceeds support the Menasha Parks and Recreation Family Assistance Fund, helping Menasha youth take part in Parks and Recreation programs year-round, and additional donations can be made. Sponsors include Parker John’s BBQ and Pizza, Fleet Feet Fox Valley, 103.9 WVBO, The Print House LLC, Catch Fire Creations LLC, and Jitters. A registration deadline applies to the shirt guarantee, and entries after the cutoff may not include a shirt.

Saving Paws teams up with their Oktoberfest host, Nothing Bundt Cakes, for a day filled with fun and delicious food in downtown Appleton. A share of proceeds will support Saving Paws Animal Rescue.

Appleton’s biggest block party brings together live music, creative arts and crafts, and a family activities area. During this one-day celebration, food booths are staffed by local nonprofit organizations that raise money for their missions.

The event features live performances from Glam Band and Krestfall. Both bands will play during the show.

At Oktoberfest in Downtown Appleton, Inferno Subs partners to serve food while supporting a charitable cause. A portion of proceeds will be donated to Saving Paws to help animals.

During the Appleton Farm Market, The Drinkery inside the Trout Museum of Art features a buy one, get the second drink at 50 percent off offer. Options include coffee, tea, specialty lattes, and more. Admission to all museum exhibitions is free.

Mistakes Were Made makes its Appleton's Octoberfest debut on the Razor Stage as part of the official lineup, bringing high energy to the festivities.

Cousins Maine Lobster brings comfort food with a coastal twist to Lion's Tail Brewing, a cozy match for cooler weather and relaxed brewery time. Order ahead in the mobile app to skip the line. The app starts accepting orders a couple of hours before each truck service, and you will need to wait until the current service ends to place an order for the next one. Mobile app ordering may be limited or unavailable at times, but you can always order directly at the truck. Earn points with every purchase, and if you order at the truck, ask the team to scan the QR code so the points are added to your account.

Organized by People of Progression, the third annual Culture in the Valley gathers community, music, art, food, and healing in one space at Area509. The program features live performances, dance, DJ sets, and creator showcases, along with youth-centered activities, art-making, games, and other interactive experiences, plus food to enjoy in a welcoming atmosphere. This gathering goes beyond entertainment, focusing on checking in with one another and building supportive spaces, with suicide awareness and prevention grounded in connection, open conversation, and community care. It recognizes that many people have carried heavy burdens quietly and brings people together so youth, families, and neighbors know they matter, can be themselves, and are not alone. Togetherness supports healing, culture empowers, and community can save lives.

A weekly Yu-Gi-Oh! Genesys tournament takes place at Gnome Games Appleton North. The Genesys format excludes Link and Pendulum Monsters and uses the original field layout without Extra Monster or Pendulum Zones. Older card archetypes feature prominently. The standard Forbidden and Limited list does not apply, while the usual limit of three copies per card remains in effect. Deck building uses a point system that assigns values to some cards, with most costing zero, and the combined total across Main, Extra, and Side Decks may not exceed 100 points for this event. Entry is $5. Players receive a Tournament Pack for each win, and a participation pack is available if you finish without a win. A Konami ID is required for in-store registration. This tournament runs every Saturday.

Celebrate the season at an annual fall craft show set inside the Waverly Beach Grand Ballroom. Shoppers are welcome to browse with no admission fee. Showcase your One Piece skills in a weekly three round Swiss tournament. Each round victory earns a One Piece booster pack. Hosted by the Fox River Fiddle & Dance Club, this hoedown welcomes dancers and musicians to The 10th Frame. Admission is free and all are welcome. Food and beverages will be available for purchase before, during, and after the dance.
