Celebrate and support children with childhood apraxia of speech at the West Virginia Tri-State Walk for Apraxia. This free community event brings families, friends, and professionals together to raise awareness and funds for Apraxia Kids, whose work includes educating families and professionals, fostering community connections, and advancing advocacy and research. Registration is free, and participants can earn individual fundraising incentives, including the official event T-shirt for walkers who raise $50. Apraxia Stars are honored individually and receive meaningful keepsakes, including a shirt and medal, with a certificate presented at the walk. The experience is planned to be safe, enjoyable, and memorable for every team of supporters. As the largest apraxia awareness event in the country, the walk creates a space where children and their families are understood and supported.
