Free events in Huntington, WV

Live music fills 9th Street Live as Ona and the Silkies perform on the Marshall OB/GYN Stage. Admission is free. A Go Mart Happy Hour accompanies the event, and 9th Street Libations features selections from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Rebel Bourbon, Milagro Tequila, Lucky One and High Noon. The event is presented by White Claw Hard Seltzer, Michelob Ultra, Big Timber Brewing Company and Country Boy Brewing. An after show party follows at Jerk Riley’s at Pullman Square.

An annual backpack and school supply giveaway offers free, brand-new backpacks stocked with essentials to help elementary students start the school year ready.
