Golden Retriever owners and fans gather at Udall Park, Ramada 5, for the first Golden Rush Ambassador meet up in Tucson. The morning centers on community, conversation, and connection with check in and introductions, a group photo to mark the occasion, a relaxed walk around the park, then time to hydrate, chat, and let the pups mingle. Those who wish can continue with playtime at the fenced dog park where off leash fun is allowed. Attendees are asked to keep Goldens leashed outside the dog park and to bring water for themselves and their dogs. If you have shoes for your pup, feel free to bring them as well, and do not forget a smile. All Goldens are welcome. This gathering is hosted independently by Tucson Ambassador Melissa Amundsen as part of the Golden Rush community network and is not produced or managed by Golden Rush Productions LLC. Through playful, interactive activities, participants can explore their feelings, connect with peers who understand their family experience, and be recognized for the important role they play at home. Sessions focus on laughter and games while making room for real conversations about both the ups and the tougher moments of having a sibling with special needs. Children spend time with others who truly get it, share what is on their minds, and leave feeling heard and seen. This group meets every third Thursday of the month. New participants are asked to register in advance.

An after-hours summer market fills Poppin’ Off Pop Culture Gifts & More with local makers, artists, and creative entrepreneurs sharing their work. Expect a laid-back evening vibe with mocktails, snacks, and a curated mix of unique pieces, handmade goods, treats, and collectibles from Tucson creators. Vendor spaces are offered for $20, with a choice of an outdoor canopy spot or an indoor table setup, ideal for showcasing art, crafts, treats, and distinctive finds. This community-centered series creates a warm place to browse, shop, and connect with the people behind the work.

Parent Aid offers a one hour drumming workshop that helps families sync up and ease communication challenges that can arise during the teen years. The session focuses on building connection through rhythm and finding a fresh family tempo. No previous percussion or music experience is needed.
