Learn to Swim In Weeks Not Years

Sahuarita Stingray Swim Team, 16230 S Starlight View Ln, Sahuarita · verified Aug 2
    See details

Designed for the youngest swimmers, this survival-focused program teaches infants and toddlers how to float and self-rescue. The Aqua Baby Survival Program runs for five weeks with brief lessons four days a week, 12 minutes each. Organizers state that by the end of the program children will have gained essential self-rescue skills for aquatic emergencies. Because many incidents happen when water time is unplanned, with 69 percent of drownings occurring during unscheduled moments, instruction includes practice while fully clothed. Once a child shows proficiency, they will be assessed swimming and floating in everyday summer clothing on one day and in heavier winter attire on another to reinforce real-world readiness. Sessions take place at the Sahuarita Stingray Swim Team pool, and the organizers are not affiliated with the Sahuarita Stingrays Swim Team. Space is limited.
