Sound Healing Journey

Experience a deeply immersive sound healing journey at Aumbase Sedona: Sound Breath & Yoga, held by Daniel and Valerie in a caring, sacred space. Waves of resonance from drums, didgeridoo, vocal toning, crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, Native American flute, chimes, and other harmonizing instruments guide the session, while essential oils are used to clear and uplift. Participants may encounter bliss, ecstasy, a sense of oneness, deep calm, a restorative reset, peace, a felt state of pure energy, and potential physical healing. Admission is $30. Community Leaders Breakfast | Economic Outlook & Leadership Forum

Leaders from business, government, and the wider community come together for a morning program centered on the issues shaping Sedona and the Verde Valley, with time set aside for conversation, fresh perspectives, and meaningful connections. The experience includes coffee and networking followed by a served breakfast at L’Auberge de Sedona. The program features a recorded address from House Representative Selina Bliss and a community update from Kate Day, Acting Deputy District Ranger for the Red Rock Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest. A conversational session brings together Chamber President and CEO David Key, Mayor Holli Ploog, and Yavapai County Supervisor Vice Chair Nikki Check. Kevin Wunker of Raymond James provides an outlook on the economy, setting the stage for discussion of public policy, regional priorities, current economic conditions, and the broader business environment. Tickets are $50 for members, $60 for general admission, and $400 for a member table of eight. The 12th Annual Sedona Hummingbird Festival is a three-day celebration of hummingbirds presented by the International Hummingbird Society and set amid Sedona’s red rock scenery. It welcomes bird lovers, photographers, gardeners, artists, families, and anyone who finds inspiration in nature, blending science, education, and close-up encounters with these remarkable birds. Festival programming features fourteen expert presentations on a wide range of hummingbird topics, guided tours of hummingbird-friendly gardens, live banding demonstrations, and birding field trips throughout Red Rock Country. Attendees can enjoy breakfasts with hummingbirds, browse a lively marketplace of themed gifts and supplies, enter an exciting raffle, view a curated photo contest display, share a festive dinner, and shop a plant sale focused on pollinator-friendly selections. Pre-festival workshops offer hands-on learning in hummingbird photography and painting, and a dedicated Kids Day includes crafts, activities, and live animals. A major draw is the chance for close viewing at Hummingbird Central, the Sedona Performing Arts Center, where large numbers of hummingbirds gather at feeders. Additional sightings occur at banding sites and during the garden tours. As many as eight species are known to occur in the Sedona area during the festival weekend, creating abundant opportunities to observe their dazzling flight and behavior.

Saturday Starlight

Verde Canyon Railroad presents a Starlight rail adventure available on certain Saturday evenings, carrying guests from late afternoon into night. The four-hour journey begins in daylight and moves through sunset into a canopy of stars or a moonlit glow, depending on the lunar phase. As the train winds through Verde Canyon, the setting sun paints Arizona’s cliffs and sky with vivid color. Twilight may reveal wildlife in their natural environment as canyon walls echo with their calls. With darkness, the desert sky opens to distant constellations free from city brightness, and the rugged rock faces can appear to form shapes reminiscent of animals or angels under the evening light.

Heidi & The Joy Riders - Live at Borracho - Munds Park!

Heidi & The Joy Riders return to Borracho Saloon for an outdoor show on the La Capilla Stage in Munds Park, Arizona. Enjoy an open air performance with plenty of room to move on the spacious patio and dance floor. Bar service will be available both inside and outside, and a food truck will be on site. Admission is free, and guests must be 21 or older.

Munds Park Farmers Market at Munds Ranch & Community Gardens

This lively farmers market in Munds Park features a wide assortment of fresh food and locally made goods. Attendees will find produce from small local farms along with honey, jams, pickles, salsa, breads and other baked treats, plus creations from home bakers, makers and creators. Many items are ready to eat right away, to take home for later, or to freeze for future use. All sellers are small business owners from the area sharing their products with the community. Native Plants of the Ancestral Trail: Identification and Indigenous Uses of Local Flora

This interpretive 1/3-mile walk at the Native American Heritage Garden and Pathway focuses on identifying native plants and sharing how Indigenous communities have used them. Led by ethnobotanist Rob Estrada of the Verde Valley Archaeology Center and Museum, the experience highlights species such as prickly pear, amaranth, dandelion, wild lettuce, buckwheat, clover, plantain, lambs quarters, globe mallow, yucca, thistles, and agave, with insights into their traditional roles and purposes. Estrada brings training in broadcasting production and public history, a focus on the Southwestern borderlands and archaeology, multiple seasons with the National Park Service in Yosemite and at Montezuma Well, and stewardship of the Traditional Garden at Montezuma Well between 2015 and 2019. He also works at Northern Arizona University with Road Scholar. Open to both members and nonmembers, with no registration required. Complimentary water and other cold beverages will be available, and the route includes periods of standing.

Feel the Beat continues with a free, family-friendly screening of Soul as part of the 2026 Family Summer Film Series presented by Nackard Pepsi. The series spotlights how music shapes stories and sparks creativity, highlighting the ways rhythm and sound can connect communities. In Soul, Joe, a middle school band teacher devoted to jazz, journeys into another realm to help someone else uncover their passion, leading him to a deeper sense of purpose. Admission is free with general admission seating, and no tickets or RSVP are required. All ages are welcome, and anyone under 16 must attend with an adult. Comedy Open Mic Night

Flagstaff Brewing Company hosts a recurring comedy open mic where those interested can sign up and take the stage. It follows a regular rhythm on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, with some months also adding a fifth Wednesday, and the rotation includes a Fishbowl Night with Open Mic two weeks later. Signups take place before the show, and the performances begin soon after.

Roll for Adventure Kids Camp

Designed for ages 9 to 13, this single day camp centers on fantasy fueled creativity and cooperative play. Campers start by painting a 3D dragon miniature they can take home, then shift to a tabletop roleplaying one shot that invites them to create a character, explore a fantastical setting, work as a team, and complete a heroic quest. All supplies are provided. Please pack a lunch or send money for snacks and drinks from the cafe. Tuition is $65 per child, with a $55 rate for Good Game Cafe members. The member price also applies if a parent holds a membership, and a code is required to redeem it. Capacity is limited and a waitlist will be offered if the camp fills, with the possibility of adding another day based on interest. Route 66 to the Grand Canyon presents a zany, enchanting comedy that salutes a century of adventure and Americana. After Ruth's car gives out just outside Flagstaff, her unwanted stop turns wondrous when Mother Road, a mischievous, mystical personification of Route 66, adds a pinch of road dust and carries her through the heart of Northern Arizona. Along the way they meet James, a tow truck mechanic with outsized dreams and punchlines as vast as the canyon, and what begins as a breakdown becomes a ride powered by humor and heart. Blending scripted theater with interactive moments and a nod to classic British seaside variety, this show within a show serves up deliberately cheesy jokes, larger than life characters, and laughs for every generation while honoring Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon, and the quirky charm that makes Route 66 a one of a kind journey.

Ryan Biter performs live in the Jaime Major Golightly Courtyard at the Museum of Northern Arizona. Tamales USA provides food, and wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Admission is $8 for museum members and $18 for non-members, with free entry for children 9 and under, and it includes access to the museum exhibits. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door. Everyone can take part in a trivia game focused on the Colorado Plateau and the Museum of Northern Arizona, with a prize for the winner. Mushrooms and Fungi 101

At Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library, Mike Dechter from the Arizona Mushroom Society leads an introductory talk on the world of mushrooms and fungi. Geared toward those with a bit of background and plenty of curiosity, the session explains what fungi are and why they are important, then explores basic mushroom anatomy and how to identify wild species. The presentation wraps up with a focus on the Arizona Fab Four Fungi, four edible mushrooms known for being easier to recognize in Northern Arizona. This indoor program is offered in partnership with Willow Bend Environmental Education Center. A weekly Thursday Paint Night invites creatives of all levels to make art in a relaxed setting. Participants purchase a canvas, while paints and brushes are provided, and the rest is up to your imagination. Finished pieces can be entered into a monthly auction, with 50 percent of the sale going back to the artist and 50 percent benefiting the charity of the month.

Cribbage Night brings players together at Good Game Cafe for strategy and friendly competition. Beginners can get up to speed with lessons, while seasoned fans jump right into play. Since 2015, this longstanding haunted history walk explores historic downtown Flagstaff’s most storied sites, with stops like the Monte Vista Hotel and little-known tales many residents have not heard. Guided by a team recognized with local awards, the tour shares accounts drawn from co-founder Susan Johnson’s original research. There are no scripts or recycled online summaries, just documented history told by people who know these streets and the spirits tied to them. The experience has earned more than a thousand five star reviews and was named Best of Flagstaff in 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Trish Toledo brings a soulful set to the historic Orpheum Theater in downtown Flagstaff for an all-ages show. Raised in Carson, California, she blends classic pop, Latin influences, and heartfelt soul ballads, drawing on her Ecuadorian and Guatemalan background. After taking time away to raise her son, she has returned to live performance, connecting with longtime fans of classic ballads and new listeners discovering this style. The Orpheum Theater is an indoor, historic venue in the heart of downtown, near the Weatherford Hotel and the Residence Inn. There is no parking on site. Stamp Making to Customize Your Clothing

Dive into relief printing in a hands-on workshop that takes you from carving your own stamps to printing on both paper and fabric. Learn how to use carving tools, transfer your chosen images to soft blocks, and create patterns that showcase the calming rhythm of repetition. All carving and printing supplies are provided. Bring fabric items you would like to personalize, such as spare tote bags or T-shirts, ideally pieces you are comfortable using for practice. AZOP Racing hosts a two day off-road grand prix at the Cinder Hills OHV Area, set across volcanic cinder beds, winding trails, and rough terrain that push both riders and drivers. The weekend features racing for dirt bikes, e-moto, electric balance bikes, quads, UTVs, and three wheelers, with classes for every age group and ability level. Families can look forward to camping and a lively race environment with tight competition. Guided by Elder Jones, this hands-on workshop introduces wet concrete carving from start to finish. All experience levels are welcome, from beginners to advanced. Explore a Native American artist market featuring more than 30 creators sharing fine art, weaving, pottery, jewelry, katsinas, silversmithing, apparel, and other crafts, and pick up homemade fry bread available for purchase. The program includes a talk by Clive J. Hustito, Zuni Pathfinder of The Light, a wisdom keeper and master Zuni fetish carver and sculptor, and the son of the late Clifford Mahooty. Seating for the presentation is inside the museum on a first come, first served basis. Following the talk, a complimentary reception offers hors d’oeuvres and nonalcoholic beverages.
